The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is instrumental in systematically collecting and analyzing feedback from all stakeholders to assess and enhance the quality of institutional processes. This information is then disseminated to all concerned parties to maintain transparency and encourage collaborative improvement.
The IQAC takes on the role of a central coordinating body for quality-related initiatives, acting as a hub for the adoption and dissemination of best practices. Through the organization of workshops, seminars, and the promotion of quality circles, the IQAC facilitates a continuous dialogue on themes related to quality enhancement.
In addition, the IQAC ensures the documentation of various programs and activities aimed at improving quality. It also plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining an institutional database through Management Information Systems (MIS), aiding in the tracking and enhancement of overall institutional quality.
Furthermore, the IQAC conducts periodic Academic and Administrative Audits, followed by a systematic follow-up process. This helps in identifying areas for improvement and ensures that corrective measures are implemented effectively.
One of the key responsibilities of the IQAC is the preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with the guidelines and parameters set by accreditation bodies such as the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This report serves as a comprehensive overview of the institution's quality-related activities and progress over the given period

Quality assurance
To improve and enhance the quality and maintain the standard of all the activities and programs, IQAC plays an important role in ensuring the regulatory requirements and guidelines related to it.
We provide many support services to help students achieve their academic and personal goals like academic advising, counseling, career services, and financial aid. The financial aid is provided for 25% of the students in the college who are orphans and destitute.
The co-curricular activity policy is created to provide our students exposure and a rewarding experience outside the classroom walls. Special focus is maintained on the inclusivity and equity providing them a platform to grow both academically and non academically.
Regular assessment and improvement of academic programs are done which is crucial for ensuring their effectiveness. Ongoing evaluation allows for adjustments, keeping the curriculum aligned with educational goals and responsive to changing needs within the academic landscape. Our college maintains responsive feedback mechanisms for students and faculty which helps in implementing regular surveys and open forums which provide valuable feedback from both students and faculty, fostering a responsive communication channel.
Compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements is crucial for maintaining quality and legal adherence in various industries. It has helped our institution in maintaining the decorum as any other higher education institutions. Regular audits and updates to policies help organizations meet these standards and demonstrate commitment to best practices.
To prepare the College for the accreditation, assessment and ranking by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC), State Assessment Accreditation Council (SAAC), National Institutional Ranking Frame(NIRF), etc
Community engagement
JDT Islam College of Arts and Science has been there in the mainstream for many years in matters regarding community engagements. Being an active participant in the SIPC unit our institution has been able to pave the way for many young minds to the world of social services. Students were able to foster partnerships with local communities to address societal needs. It helped in instilling a sense of responsibility for community development among students.
